first post in a while

well, i haven't posted in a few months. not because i haven't taken any cool pictures, but because i haven't thought about sharing them. i have a few nice pics that i can put up. here they are. I'm going to post them large, because i have a hi-speed connection for today.

clear day, lots o' pics

umm.. yeah i took maybe 100 pics today, because it was a really bright, clear, crisp fall day. here are only a few.

Chicago

Two Pics of the Chicago skyline. #1 is a bunch of pics glued together. I tried to take some others to add, but none of them fit. The second one was taken from a water taxi to Navy Pier.

Here are two more pictures from the same day. these are closer in to town, and aren't qute as good as the other two.
 

here are some more flowers from the same field. this picture has the same soft lighting. I think it might be casued by the pollen in the air. 

Some sort of flower

I don't know what kind of flower this is, but it was the only one in a field of something sunflower-ish. I love this picture because of the softness of the light around it. click on it to get the bigger version.

haha. This actually washed up on the beach today. there were gulls swarming around it and stuff. I almost didn't get to eat it. (just kidding)
